Stella Benson is director of the Healing Musician′s Center. The center where musicians go to improve their healing musicianship skills. Her zeal to "spread the healing" with music has driven her to publish The Healer′s Way music books, and to author The Healing Musician: A Guide to Playing Healing Music at the Bedside. Her music in The Healer′s Way recording series is heard in homes, hospices and hospitals in the U.S. and internationally, including Japan, Singapore and Australia.

Founder and passed director of the International Healing Musician′s Program, and former executive director for the Music for Healing and Transition Program, Stella Benson is a leading educator in the therapeutic music field. Beginning her healing music journey in 1992, Ms. Benson has provided healing music services to AIDS, oncology, and hospice patients, their families and loved ones. A pioneer in promoting healing music, her healing music recordings, and educational books, have proven to be invaluable to musicians, patients, and healthcare providers internationally.
